ADSL Auto Connect at Startup Windows XP


Just Follow the procedure given below, this procedure works perfectly for almost every ADSL Type Connection ( Works for BSNL Broadband - Tested )
Right-click on the system tray icon when you are connected (usually it looks like two computers)
Select "Status"
Then in the opened window click "Properties"
Go to "Options" tab and DESELECT the "Prompt for name and password" and click OK.

Now copy your internet connection shortcut to the start-up folder.

Method 2

  1. Goto: [Start] [Run] 
  2. Type: [Regedit]
    Registry Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run 
  3. Create the Value Data Type(s) and Value Name(s) as detailed below.
    Data Type: REG_SZ [String Value]
  4. Value Name: [Enter the Name of Program Executable]
    Value Data: [Enter the Path to the Program Executable]
    Exit Registry and Reboot
